Shackles allow a solid connection of two ropes or straps. They are used in virtually all conditions and are necessary equipment for an off-road car. More 4x4 shackles are certified and offered in three sizes. The certificate placed on the shackle informs about the size and the permissible load. Shackle screws have been intentionally varnished to a bright color in order to easily find the screws in e.g. forest cover.
